Objective

Use an Active Directory user igx to deploy IGA 15

Details

Prior to deployment of IGA 15, the installer checks if an igx user exists on the Linux server. If the user exists, then no new igx user will be created.

Let’s consider a scenario where the Linux server is configured to authenticate against Active Directory and an igx user is already created in Active Directory. In this case, a new user is not created by the install script.

Ensure the below requirements are met:

  • A directory /home/igx needs to be created and set as home directory for the igx user.

  • root user should have write access to the home directory of the igx user
  • The .bash_profile file is present in the home directory of igx user.
  • If not already added, the iga command installation path must be added in the file.
